Time2gether Workshops
Our Pinelands workshops offer weekly sessions for parents/nannies with their babies and toddlers. We run morning and afternoons groups as well as on Saturday for the working parents.

My son and I have been going to Activity Workshop since he was 8 months old. I am a qualified Music Teacher and I have been so impressed with the music choices and actions that align with the appropriate developmental stages. Ofra is a creative, knowledgeable teacher who creates a safe, loving little community within her groups. I went to Activity Workshop with my grandchild and those mornings were always the highlight of my week. As an Occupational Therapist I was impressed with her knowledge of development and how she incorporated important aspects of development into her activities. It is special to find a group lead by a women who is so passionate and knowledgeable about child development. In her own way she guides you and your toddler through a series of fun and developmental activities whilst also giving space for kids to play and explore! I would highly recommend these workshops for any parent, grandparent or caregiver to participate in their child’s development in a nurturing, caring, happy environment.

When my daughter was 6 months old we started attending Ofra’s baby workshops, which we found to be very rewarding. Once lockdown hit, it was very difficult for my daughter to adjust to not getting any social time, and so once things opened up enough again, Ofra very kindly offered to take her at Little Acorns, even though she was not quite old enough yet. Once she joined Little Acorns, she just blossomed. Little Acorns is such a positive environment for a little person to be in: dedicated teachers, a small ratio of kids to teacher, lots of hands on creative play, sensory play, and singing and movement. I particularly liked how Ofra would create a curriculum based around a theme every term, and then she would make many of the related activities herself, because she is such a creative person. Little Acorns also fosters great friendships between the kids, and my daughter really misses her Little Acorns playmates now that she has grown too big and is at another school. Our family is grateful to Ofra and her school for everything they have done for our family.

If you believe that kids should learn through play, from each other and from movement, dance and music, then Little Acorns is the school for your child! There is a high ratio of teachers to kids, lots of play, individual focus and attention, a focus on holistic education but at the same time, the kids are still given the freedom to exercise and grow their independence. My kids have thrived here and really benefited from all the fun well-thought through activities and art, the small, "safe"group and the individualised attention. A happy place!
